This week has been one crazy week and I am happy that we are nearing the end of it. I am also ending my streak of all black clothing. I’ll be back to full-color outfits very soon and hopefully, Spring won’t be too far behind. To end my all black streak, I choose I pattern that I am very fond of. It’s the grid pattern that Shein does so well in white and black or black in white. You may remember I own a white jacket and a black skirt that I wore here with the same pattern. I saw this Tie Neck Grid Print dress on Shein’s site and instantly added it to my cart. I don’t know what it is about this print, but I want everything Shein sells in it.
The grid is a classic print that can easily be paired with solids or other prints. In this case, I ordered the dress in a 2X and after I tried the dress on, I realized that it was a little too big. So I paired it with my Gucci belt to add a more defined waistline, but a red belt or any pop of color would also be a great addition to this look.
The Tie Neck Grid Print dress is already a favorite of mine, as I’ve worn it a few times since I got it like on my recent business trip to Salt Lake City. Since I had a short presentation, this was the perfect dress to stand up in front of strangers in and look polished.
If you’re looking for a great dress that’s versatile for professional events, religious events, brunch with the girls, etc, I highly recommend this dress. Order it in your size, no need to size up because this dress is pretty room already. And clearly my favorite item of the year so far. You can find this Tie Neck Grid Print Dress here on the Shein website or use the search ID 637973.
