Cool in My Cardigan – SHEIN Black Friday Sale

Back in the day, I would be up early on Black Friday hitting the stores with the hundreds of other shoppers that were trying to catch all the good deals. The older I get, the less I want to run around to all the stores and the more I am ordering online. Shein has been one of my favorite online stores lately.  So when they started their Black Friday sale early, I had to get in on the deals. The Shein’s Black Friday sale runs until November 29 and they have some great deals. I have this Checkered Contrast Trim Cardigan saved in my favorites for a month now. The cardigan was originally priced at $28 and now it’s on sale for only $19. Initially, I ordered a 2XL knowing that Shein clothes sometimes run small, but I had to send it back because this cardigan runs a little big.  I ended…

Spot on for Cheetah Print

My favorite thing about Fall and Winter is definitely the clothing. I am not a fan of the cold or the snow, but I love sweaters, boots, and jackets. And since we are finally starting to get Fall-like weather on the East Coast, I recently did a huge Shein haul. So make sure you are following me on Instagram or LiketoKNOWit. I’ll definitely be posting some looks on Instagram and what doesn’t make it to the gram will be on LiketoKNOWit. Last week, I shared with you my take on this split front leopard skirt from Shein. Animal prints are totally on-trend this season, so this week I am covering CHEETAH. I love a good tie blouse, so when you combine that with a colorful cheetah print, I am all in. As soon as I saw this Cheetah Tie Neck Blouse, I immediately added it to my wishlist on Shein.…

fALL About Leopard Print

Fall has returned and so have I, in leopard print. Leopard print is once again super popular this season. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I ruptured my Achilles back in April. So I ended up taking an unplanned, extended break from blogging to focus on healing my foot and making sure my mental health didn’t suffer. Dealing with a ruptured Achilles was the worst and I wouldn’t wish it on my enemies. It was especially hard for me because I am used to being independent, so not being able to do the things I could normally do easily was crushing. Thankfully my loving mom came to stay with me for a couple of months and nurse me back to health. But now my foot is 85% healed and I am back to blogging. While home recovering, I did a LOT of shopping. Shein has taken…

I’m Going Off the Grid

This week has been one crazy week and I am happy that we are nearing the end of it. I am also ending my streak of all black clothing. I’ll be back to full-color outfits very soon and hopefully, Spring won’t be too far behind. To end my all black streak, I choose I pattern that I am very fond of. It’s the grid pattern that Shein does so well in white and black or black in white. You may remember I own a white jacket and a black skirt that I wore here with the same pattern. I saw this Tie Neck Grid Print dress on Shein’s site and instantly added it to my cart. I don’t know what it is about this print, but I want everything Shein sells in it. The grid is a classic print that can easily be paired with solids or other prints. In this…

Don’t Ruffle My Feathers

For the past week, I’ve been hosting a Self-Love Email Challenge and sharing corresponding blog posts. Self-love is super important to me and part of my self-care ritual. I truly believe that the way you love yourself is reflected in the relationships you have in your life. And despite my fashion mood being all black everything, I’m actually in a great place in my life. I couldn’t help but fall in love with this Contrast Ruffle Pinstripe Sleeve Top from Shein, so I order it. We live such busy and stressful lives, so it’s easy to allow other people to ruffle our feathers. This weekend, out of the blue, I got a call from an ex wanting to grab drinks and catch up. I haven’t seen this ex in years, but he holds a special place in my heart. However, when he reached out with a request to crash at my place, my…
